“A dynamic vinyasa style class open to all levels. Based on the traditional series of Ashtanga, “The Rocket” are set sequences that focus on grounding your being, dissolving tension and stretching your mind through present moment awareness of the feeling body in explored Asanas, facilitated with conscious breath.
The class begins with traditional sun salutations, progresses through standing postures to establish grounding then moves into an uptempo seated series with an emphasis on your transitions and breath; before ending with finishing postures and an extensive savasana.
Rocket classes are ideal for the new or regular practitioner ready to commit to and refine their Yoga practice. The smaller class size allows for greater individual adjustments and guidance from instructors. To challenge your mental and physical edge, you will be given opportunities to practice arm balances and inversions. There is no “skill” level needed to take this class, the most advanced practice is one that is constantly seeking to challenge the physical to grow the mental. Come open minded, ready to grow and inspire!”
